 Transition between Rahu Dasha to Guru Dasha is called Rahu Brahaspati Sandhi. The Sandhi shanthi should be done before 6 months of transition . There will be some hostility between these planets, that may cause ill health,accident etc.

First Navagraha homa needs to be done. Then for the sandhi grahas special 6-8 dravyas are offered based on Rahu Brahaspati Sandhi.Sandhi graha japas also done in Mandala and Kalasha.  Maha Mruthyunjaya homa is also done for the long living.
